What is Coronavirus (COVID-19) ?
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. It is a type of common virus that can infect your nose, sinuses, or upper throat. By far, there is no vaccine or treatments for coronavirus.
The coronavirus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Thus, wearing a surgical mask, limiting face-to-face contact with others & keeping space between you and others is some of the important prevention to take when going out home.
Symptoms of Coronavirus
Coronavirus affects different people in different ways. Most infected people will develop mild to moderate illness and recover without hospitalization.
Older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from Coronavirus illness.
Signs of COVID-19 usually begin 2-14 days after a person has been infected. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

Less common symptoms:

- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
- Bone or joint pain
- Muscle pain
